What are CPC checks?
CPC stands for certificate of professional competence. It is essential that all professional drivers go through this testing program to ensure that they are safe while driving for a profession.
What is tachograph data?
Tachograph data relates to a tachograph card. These cards are similar in size and material to a driving licence, however, they contain a microchip that stores data within digital vehicle units.
The digital tachograph, like the analogue one, records driving, breaks, rest and other work. But unlike the analogue recorder, which logs activity solely to paper records, the digital unit captures this information on the driver's smart card and in the Vehicle Unit (VU).
Anything can happen to these cards and it is important that businesses keep a close check on them. Our team can provide you with the data you need to protect your business as well as your drivers.
